Creating an account, uploading your campaign, telling your story, adding photos and videos, and going live cost you nothing. You only see a fee when donations start coming in.
Editing your story, posting updates to your donors, responding to messages, and tracking your progress from your account, all free for as long as your campaign is live.
For donations made by Visa or Mastercard through the CX Pay checkout, we deduct 5% of the donation amount plus a flat seventy five cents per transaction. This covers payment processing, fraud screening, platform hosting, customer support, and administration. Taxes, where applicable, are excluded.
Example, a $100 donation by card. Fee is $5.00 plus $0.75, total $5.75. Your campaign receives $94.25.
For donations made through Sentoo bank transfer, we deduct 2% of the donation amount. There is no flat fee on Sentoo. Taxes, where applicable, are excluded.
Example, a $100 donation by Sentoo. Fee is $2.00. Your campaign receives $98.00.
Donors are not charged extra. The fee is taken from the donation amount and your campaign balance reflects the net total. This keeps the donor experience simple and your numbers easy to track.
At checkout, donors can choose to cover the platform fee on top of their donation if they want to. This is voluntary, never assumed, and donors decide before paying.
We transfer collected donations to your bank account once a month, around the fifteenth of the following month. So donations received in January are paid out around February 15th, and so on.
To keep wire and admin costs reasonable, payouts run when your balance is at least five hundred Dollars. If your balance is under that at payout time, it rolls over to the next month. At the end of your campaign, any remaining balance is paid out regardless of the amount.
We do not charge a separate fee to send your funds to your bank. The per donation fee already covers payout costs.
By Visa or Mastercard, a donor sends $100, the campaign receives $94.25.
By Sentoo bank transfer, a donor sends $100, the campaign receives $98.00.
By Visa or Mastercard with a 5% tip voluntarily added by the donor, a donor sends $105.00, the campaign still receives $100.00 because the tip covers the fee.
No. The figures above are the complete fee structure. We do not charge subscription fees, setup fees, monthly fees, or per impression fees. If a tax or regulatory charge applies in a specific case, we tell you in advance.
We may update fees over time. When we do, the change is published here first and existing active campaigns keep the fees they started under, until they end.
