How CX Pay 2 Fund keeps donors, creators, and the community protected. What we verify, what we monitor, and what to do if something looks off.

How we verify campaigns

Know Your Customer review

Every campaign goes through a Know Your Customer review before it is published. We verify the identity of the campaign owner, confirm the bank account where funds will be paid out, and check the documentation provided about the cause. Most reviews finish within two business days. Campaigns associated with weapons, drugs, human trafficking, money laundering, or any other illegal activity are immediately rejected.

Documentation we may request

Depending on the campaign type, we may ask for a government issued identification document, proof of address, a Tax Identification Number for organizations, supporting documents that describe the cause, and evidence of authority to raise funds on behalf of the named beneficiary. We treat all documentation as confidential.

Ongoing monitoring

Approval is not the end of the review process. We continue to monitor active campaigns for patterns that suggest fraud or misuse, including unusual donation activity, inconsistencies in the story, complaints from donors, and reports from the community. If anything looks off, we pause the campaign while we investigate.

How we protect payments

Secure connection

Our site runs over HTTPS with a valid security certificate, denoted by the padlock in your browser address bar. All data exchanged between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit.

PCI compliant processors

Card payments are handled by PCI compliant processors, including CX Pay and CyberSource. Card numbers are never stored on our servers. Bank transfers go through Sentoo, a regulated local payment service. Every donation generates a receipt for both parties.

Fraud screening

Each transaction is screened for fraud signals in real time. Suspicious payments are blocked or flagged for manual review before settling. We work with our acquiring bank and payment partners to keep this layer current with the latest threats.

3D Secure on cards

Visa and Mastercard donations may trigger 3D Secure authentication, Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure, which adds a one time check with your bank. If your card is not enrolled for online transactions, contact your bank to enable it. You only have to do this once.

How donor data is handled

What we collect

To process a donation we collect your name, email, billing address, and payment details. Identification documents from creators are stored in restricted access systems and are used only for verification and compliance. Full details on what we collect and why are in our Privacy Policy.

Who we share data with

We share data only with parties that are necessary to deliver the service, our payment processors, our acquiring bank, our hosting provider. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Anonymous donations

If you prefer your name not to appear publicly on a campaign, check the anonymous box at checkout. Your donation still counts toward the campaign total but your identity stays private on the public page. The creator and our team still see the donation in their dashboard so we can issue confirmations and resolve any issues.

If something goes wrong

Report a suspicious campaign

If a campaign looks fraudulent, misrepresents the cause, or violates our terms, email hello@cxpay.global with the campaign link and a short explanation. We treat every report seriously. If we find the report is valid, we pause or remove the campaign and refund affected donors where possible.

Refund requests

Donations are voluntary contributions and are non refundable except in exceptional circumstances, such as fraud or technical error. To request a refund, email hello@cxpay.global within thirty days of the donation with the campaign name, date, amount, and reason. We will review and respond.

Dispute resolution

Disputes between donors and creators about how funds are used are resolved between those parties directly. CX Pay 2 Fund is not party to the underlying cause. That said, if we receive credible evidence of misuse, we may withhold transfers, refund donors, or escalate the matter to the relevant authorities.

Your role in keeping the platform safe

Use a strong password

Your account is the gateway to your campaign and your payouts. Pick a password you do not use anywhere else, and keep it private. If you suspect your account has been accessed, email hello@cxpay.global immediately and we will help you secure it.

Verify shared links

If someone sends you a campaign link, hover over the URL before clicking. Real CX Pay 2 Fund campaigns live at cxpay2fund.me. Be wary of look alike domains that try to imitate the brand.
